Miley was confiscated from a home with over 40 chihuahuas living in terrible conditions. Rescuers found dogs living under the home, feces completely covering the floor, and newborn and nursing babies living in couch cushions and under furniture. Several dogs had began leaving the house out of an open window in search of help. Help came just in time, and all 40 surviving dogs were taken to the shelter and checked out by a vet. Along with several other rescues, we agreed to get the whole group out of the shelter and into rescues and foster care!   

Miley is thriving in foster care and learning what it's like to be a beloved family member. She does great with everyone - dogs, cats, and kids! She is picking up on crate and house training and learning how to walk on a leash too. Miley will make a wonderful companion to the lucky family who adopts her!
